People I look up to

The people I look up to are my parents. I never realized just how special they are until I became a parent myself. I can't think of anyone I look up to more.

Below is an article from my local newspaper about my friend who passed away in February of 08. She was one of those people who touched everyone she knew in a special way. She is another person I admired for the way she lived her life. I miss you Cindy.

A Little Bit Me

I'm married with two kids ages 12 & 19. I work from home for an insurance company which allows me to be on Monkeeland way too much! In my leisure time, I like to watch TV, listen to my ipod, search the internet, read and spend time with family and friends. We have two pets; a cat and a dog that I adore! Life keeps me busy. My daughter is in cheering so I'm constantly running her here and there. My son is in college. I don't travel much. I find myself to be somewhat of a homebody. We go on vacation to the beach every year as you will see if you look at my pictures. Although I complain about winter, I love the change of seasons. As I've gotten older I've become quite nostalgic as you can tell by looking at this page. I saw The Monkees when they first became popular in 1966. Monkeeland has renewed my love for them and their music.
